| Beverly Hills Ninja 2 Coming | | Posted by: |
They're making a sequel to Beverly Hill Ninja. That's the word from Moviehole. I liked Beverly Hills Ninja 2 better the first time when it was called Kung Fu Panda.
The original Beverly Hills Ninja starred the now long dead (and sorely missed) Chris Farley as a white fat guy who deludes himself into thinking he can become the great white ninja. It's funnier than it gets credit for, in fact it's the only funny thing Chris ever did without his little buddy David Spade. Remarkable when you consider the guy was probably coked out of his mind during the whole thing.
So how the heck do you make a sequel to a movie whose star, and the only reason for the film existing, is dead? You turn it into a dance movie. The sequel is called Tokyo Jones: The Legend of the Dancing Ninja (though they may tack "Beverly Hills Ninja 2" onto it at some point). It's written by Mitch Klebanoff, who wrote the first one, and he's using a similar plot outline. A white kid grows up with an Asian family, and grows up convincing himself he's the legendary dancing ninja... whatever that is. When his Sensei is murdered, he follows in Farley's footsteps and heads to Hollywood to track down the killer.
As a Farley fan, I find this whole thing pretty offensive, but will refrain from putting together a useless internet petition because I know those don't work and because I'm thankful they've decided to retread this instead of say... Tommy Boy. Don't touch Tommy Boy or I swear to everything holy that your mothers will cry when they see what I've done to you! And besides, odds are Beverly Hills Ninja 2 will be an easily ignored direct to DVD sequel. Sony hasn't come out and said that yet, but it sure sounds like one doesn't it?

| Bond Moves To November 14 | | Posted by: |
Yeah, I know, it's over three months away, but James Bond has already made my Thanksgiving totally awesome. Two years ago I took my dad to see Casino Royale over Thanksgiving , after it opened on November 17. And last year I took him to see Enchanted, a movie he, inexplicably, was also excited to see. But this year, for holiday moviegoing, I was stuck with a movie about a talking dog (Bolt), a generic romantic comedy (Four Christmases), and, uh, a vampire teen romance (Twilight) all dominating the holiday release frame. But Dad, we have a date! Quantum of Solace has been pushed back a week, set to open on November 14, two weeks before the big holiday and plenty early enough for it to be possible to buy tickets when I come home for Thanksgiving. Sony admits they're basically just capitalizing on the fact that Harry Potter recently left that date in favor of a release next summer, but even their remaining competition is no competition at all. There's Australia, the Baz Luhrmann epic that looks amazing, but not exactly appealing to the Bond fanatics. And then there's The Road, practically guaranteed to be the most depressing movie of 2008. I admit I want to see all three, but when it comes to holiday entertainment, who wouldn't choose the gun-toting 007? So mark your calendars: Quantum of Solace, November 14. Or, if you're like me, Quantum of Solace, November 28, the day after Thanksgiving, and full of delicious, delicious turkey. Wait, why isn't it Thanksgiving already by now? Update! It's only been hours since Bond jumped release dates and already someone has moved to fill his November 7th void. Universal has announced that they're moving Role Models to be released on November 7.

| Arnold Voiceover For Terminator Salvation? | | Posted by: |
When is no answer at all an answer to a question? When someone asks you whether Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice will be used in Terminator 4 and you answer with "maybe or maybe not". In this case, the not so certain answerer is one of the producers of Terminator Salvation, Moritz Borman.
Wired caught up with Borman and grilled him on what's up with T4. Borman was forthcoming on the subject of Arnold, as he confirmed what we already knew: That Arnie will not be appearing in Terminator Salvation. Well sort. Actually, Borman answered with a qualifier saying, "Schwarzenegger is governing California. He will not be, as a person, in the film."
That led Wired to followup by asking if that meant he might be present as some sort of voiceover, and that's when Borman clammed up. Moritz says, "It's really up to what fits in the film or not. Maybe his voice, or maybe not. It's really not settled." Either he's running some sort of mysterious importing exporting business with ties to the Gabinos, or that means that they're at least considering the idea of using the original Terminator's voice somewhere, somehow in the film. Of course it is Arnold, so they'll have to use his voice in a place where it won't matter whether or not the audience actually understands him. You think he's hard to grok when you can see his lips moving, just imagine that accent as a disembodied voice. Or maybe they'll just stick his picture on a shelf, next to the one they're rumored to be using of Linda Hamilton.

| Favreau Gets Down To Work On Iron Man 2 | | Posted by: |
Well, it's about time. Iron Man 2 was announced pretty much the minute Iron Man made its first million, and all summer we've been hearing news about release dates, screenwriters, and stars all set to return. And now Jon Favreau reports that they're finally-- finally!-- getting down to work.
"We're working on it now," he told The Los Angeles Times, "which hasn't been officially announced. It will be released in 2010." I'm not sure what he means by "officially announced," given that there's been reporting about the sequel all summer, but hey! They're working on it! Presumably this means Favreau and Justin Theroux are hammering out a script together, since I'm pretty sure they haven't gotten to the point of production yet. But with a release date of 2010, they'd really better get crackin'. If we don't see casting announcements within the next few weeks, it's time to get the fans harassing Favreau again.

| Nic Cage's Bangkok Dangerous Not Screened For Press | | Posted by: |
After viewing one particularly onerous clip from Nic Cage's next movie Bangkok Dangeorus, I pronounced it the worst chase scene I'd ever watched. The clip looked like exactly what it probably really was: Nic Cage sitting and pointing his gun at nothing. He might very well have been holding a water pistol. There's more to Bangkok Dangerous than just one awful clip though. Apparently the movie contains a bunch of very awful clips, or at least that's usually what it means when a studio decides not to screen its movie for the press.
That's what's happening with Bangkok Dangerous. It opens on September 5th, and the folks at Lionsgate have been kind enough to spread the word that there are no plans to show Bangkok Dangerous to critics in advance. Credit to Lionsgate, for at least owning up to what they're doing. There will be no press screenings, which means no way for critics to warn you that it sucks before you shell out money based on the cache of Nic Cage's name.
Actually, there is one way for us to warn you. I'm doing it right now. Unless it's a Mike Judge movie, not screened for the press almost always means the movie is so bad even the people who made it know the film is awful. If even they don't like their movie, it's unlikely you will either. Stay away.

| Lexus LS 460 AWD to Debut at Moscow Motor Show | | Posted by: |
The Moscow International Motor Show is only a few days away, so we'd like to quickly introduce you to a significant debut for Lexus there on August 26 in the form of big luxury saloon LS 460 AWD. Premiering the LS 460 AWD in Moscow may not immediately ring any bells, but soon you realise two important things. One is that Russia, particularly Moscow, is very rapidly becoming one of the top car destinations in the world. Most of the top manufacturers are either already in business there or have advanced plans for entering.
Two, Russia is or rather can, be a cold place to be in, some say figuratively as well. Therefore Russian ice is a fact of life and we all know All Wheel Drive is the way to go when it comes to skating properly on the hard slippery stuff. Of course Lexus could have chosen Canada as well, yet somehow I don't see quite the same effect. The car will feature an AWD system with a TORSEN Limited Slip Differential. It transfers drive torque between front and rear axle, but normal mode is 40:60 biased towards the rear. Competitors like Audi A8, Volkswagen Phaeton and Mercedes-Benz S-Class already offer some form of AWD in their models.

| Mercedes SLC Wings in for a Shot or Two | | Posted by: |
One year on from the first sighting of the C197 when our spies caught a badly assembled machine made from several old Dodge Viper parts, we can now bring you photos of the model in early development form. It has often been referred to as the Mercedes Gullwing but it is largely expected the final production model will carry the label SLC and with a model this sporty we should also see AMG in there somewhere. The juicy details continue to evade the surface leaving us analysing the pictures you see before your eyes. We can see a strip of LED, daytime running lights along the bottom of the headlight clusters. There also seem to be additional LEDs in the top section of the headlight cluster. Another details that pops out are the large cross-drilled, slotted rotors. Those large rotors will be stopping a set of Pirelli tires. We're also pretty sure a large Mercedes star will be dead centre on the grill much like it appeared on the 300 SL. The SLC is expected to be introduced at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, with a limited sales run of just two years and 12000 units and should carry a price tag of several hundred thousand dollars. We're hearing horsepower estimates in the 550-650 range, with power expected to come from a forced-induction V8, or maybe even a V10.

| Chevrolet Cruze - First Details | | Posted by: |
Take close hard look at the bold new Chevrolet Cruze, the family sedan styled like a little muscle car. Take a look because Chevrolet plans to sell the Cruze in all the continents (presumably Greenland too?) following its near-future debut at the Paris Motor Show in October. From next spring when it goes on sale it will add to the increasing number of Chevy models in Europe, including the Camaro in both LHD and RHD guises. Cruze shows clear sharp lines, including the forward-sloping single kink of shoulder line running across from the rear to the front fender.
Its face is a show of power, strong and aggressive lines flowing down on the Chevrolet grille. This type of macho design we've seen strongest in the Chevrolet WTCC concept of 2006, then to a lesser but more street extent, in the not-so-identical twins Lumina SS/Commodore and Ute.
"Our goal with the design of the Cruze was to be bold, not evolutionary," chief designer Taewan Kim explains. "We wanted to take a big step forward, making a strong design statement for Chevrolet products around the world."
If looks could kill the Cruze would simply tickle you because its engine lineup reflects more a Joe Blog customer than a Joe Cocker personality. Three engines, 1.6-litre good for 112 PS, 1.8-litre 140PS, both petrol, and a 2.0-litre common rail diesel giving 150 PS will initially be given. We hope the beginning of Cruze spells the end of Optra, which is a good all-rounder that's ultimately not proven itself to be good enough.

| SingStar and Rock Band Solve Their Library Backward Compatib... | | Posted by: |
An MTV Multiplayer report revealed how Rock Band 2 would be handling its promised implementation of music from the original Rock Band. Anyone who owns the original will be able to download a patch for the game which will add an 'export' option to the main menu. Selecting that option will prompt users to enter a password included with copies of Rock Band 2, followed by a payment (which we're promised won't exceed $5) that will head towards paying the rights holders of the songs. After that simple procedure is complete, users can bask in the glory of their united plastic instrument-fuelin' music libraries...on the Xbox 360. There's no word on whether or not this functionality will also work on other consoles. And for those wondering, it seems like you will be able to transfer the songs off a rented or borrowed copy of Rock Band -- provided you pay the fee. Multiplayer also reported how Sony plans to handle backward compatibility in future SingStar titles. Sony subsequently confirmed in this post on the PlayStation Blog that they will be continuing with the Disc Swapping feature already available in previous versions of the game. While you can swap in both PS3 and PS2 SingStar disks giving you access to everything you have, the songs won't be saved to your hard drive, so this method unfortunately requires keeping those disks handy and fiddling with the swap every time you want to play them. Disc-swapping backward compatibility is, of course, better than no backward compatiblity, but Rock Band comes away with the win here, so long as you don't mind parting with a few bucks. It's money well spent if, like us, you bring the band back together most often during parties and the last thing you need is a session of drunken disc swapping.

| Silent Hill: Homecoming On Time, Coming to PC | | Posted by: |
There's been some confusion over the past day regarding the release date of Silent Hill: Homecoming, the next installment of Konami's survival-horror series. Contrary to what you may have read elsewhere, the game has in fact not been delayed until November -- that release date applies only to Europe. Homecoming producer Tomm Hulett contacted 1UP confirming that the reports are false and the game's release date of September 30 in North America hasn't changed. This is what you get when listening to release dates talked about at an event held in Europe. Konami did, though, announce that the game will be available for the PC via Valve's digital distribution service Steam as well as the PS3 and Xbox 360. No pricepoint or a more concrete release date have been announced. Are you curious to see how the American developers are handling the very Japanese series? Check out our previews of the game, including the one from E3 where we find the new redesigned attack system to have a bit of a learning curve.

| GC 2008: Fallout 3 Release Date Announced | | Posted by: |
Bethesda Softworks has announced release dates for Fallout 3 in the US and Europe. Those of us in the States can pick up the game -- which won our E3 2008 award for best RPG -- starting October 28, while our friends across the pond will have to wait until October 31. Bethesda's Vlatko Andonov -- president of the Maryland-based company -- forecasts the game's launch as one of the most significant of 2008, stating, "We are very excited to let gamers get their hands on Fallout 3, the latest chapter in this beloved and highly acclaimed franchise," continuing, "To meet the huge demand for this title by our fans worldwide, we are planning one of the biggest launches of any game released this year." Earlier this year, Fallout 3 hit a few snags with the Australian OFLC ratings bureau. Bethesda is reportedly cutting drug references from the Australian version of the game in order for it to even be sold there, but we've yet to hear any official release date for gamers down under. The game has yet to receive a rating from the ESRB in the US, but that shouldn't be cause for alarm. Our somewhat less out-of-touch ratings board isn't known for causing a raucous over a few syringes and decapitations. The Leipzig Games Convention 2008 -- the biggest game show in the world -- is happening this week! Check out GAMESCON.1UP.COM for news, previews, podcasts, videos, blogs, and more direct from Germany.

| GC 2008: Sony Reveals PS3 Keypad Attachment | | Posted by: |
At its Games Convention press conference just now, Sony announced a keypad attachment for PS3 controllers. It's somewhat similar to Microsoft's keypad for the Xbox 360, except this one sits at the top of the controller instead of the bottom -- in theory, not quite as ideal, but we've yet to try it ourselves. The new add-on also has a small touchpad and a mouse attachment that may come in handy in future games, but especially for Home.
Sony hasn't yet said when it'll be available. Maybe when Home finally goes out of beta?

| GC 2008: GTA IV PC Details and Screens | | Posted by: |
Earlier today Rockstar gave us the first ever look at Grand Theft Auto IV running on PC. And while you can read our quite favorable impressions in our full GTA IV PC preview and check out all the screenshots, it's worth noting some of the specific enhancements for the PC version. First of all, the visuals. Running at a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600, the game's PC port offers all sorts of visual enhancements over its console counterparts, from a further draw distance to up-rezzed textures. Then there's the replay mode. The game always records the last 30 seconds of whatever you do, and at any moment you can tap a button on the keyboard to capture a video clip. You're then able to edit together these clips in a montage editor and export your own home videos to Rockstar's Social Club website. Perhaps best of all, though, are the multiplayer enhancements. Though Rockstar has teased about these in the past, it stated that the PC version will support more than the 16 players that the console versions had -- exactly how many more we don't yet know. Rockstar also mentioned that GTA IV on PC will offer improved searching and filtering to find the type of multiplayer games you're most interested in joining. From what we saw and heard, GTA IV on PC is definitely worth getting excited over. Here's hoping we'll get to find out more about the multiplayer soon.

| GC 2008: New Resident Evil 5 Co-Op Details | | Posted by: |
As part of a roundtable interview with producer Masachika Kawata at Capcom's Games Convention booth today, we were able to pick up a few new details on the cooperative mode in Resident Evil 5. First up, he provided two examples on how players can work together -- one being that you can find new items by working with another player that you wouldn't be able to find on your own, and the other being that in a dark scene one player might have to carry a torch while the other provides cover. "We have integrated quite a different variety of situations where you can both play in co-op," says Kawata. Kawata also assured us that the co-op mode won't be any less scary than the single-player game -- which we're a bit skeptical of considering voice chat will probably remove some of the fear from the experience -- saying, "I thought the game would be more of an action game until I played it." He then took things up a few notches, claiming that the game "might paralyze you with horror." It's hyperbole, sure, and it's kind of charming at the same time. We're expecting to see a lot more of Resident Evil 5's co-op mode at Tokyo Game Show in October, so we'll have to settle for these nuggets for now.

| Lucas Looks For Jedi Help For Non-Star Wars Movie | | Posted by: |
If I were George Lucas and I saw the response the general public is having to Clone Wars, I probably would hide for a while, or at least move on to something that isn't Star Wars. That appears to be exactly what the bearded one is doing, as word is that Lucas has moved his focus from a galaxy far, far away to an era a little closer with his World War II project.
Red Tails is a project that Lucas has been working on on-and-off for a while now. It's a story looking at the exploits of the Tuskeegee Airmen during the second World War. Now it looks like Lucas is turning to a familiar face for help with his African-American drama, although not in the capacity we might expect.
IGN reports that former Jedi Master Samuel L. Jackson has seen the script for Red Tails, telling the press that it's a pretty good script. Interestingly, Lucas apparently didn't send Jackson the script with a part in mind. Instead he wants Jackson to consider stepping behind the camera and directing the picture.
It concerns me a little that Lucas automatically thinks the inexperienced Jackson would be the right person to helm his picture, and certainly reveals Lucas's philosophy of direction - after all, if he can do it, clearly anyone can. Thankfully, Jackson seems to have a more level head about things, stating that he doesn't really want to stop acting for the amount of time it would take to direct a film. I think there's a lot of people who would rather see Jackson in front of the camera for now, and it's good to know Jackson himself is one of them.
As for Red Tails... didn't World War II suffer enough when Michael Bay tried telling a serious story about it? Do we really need a Lucas-borne story about the era as well?

| Superman Headed For Reboot? | | Posted by: |
It seems every week we get a new tidbit on Warner Brothers' plans for various DC super heroes. One week JLA will be separate from existing Batman/Superman entities. The next week it'll be the same. One week Wonder Woman is getting her own movie. The next week she's out of production.
This week the focus is on Superman and Warners' plans for the Man of Steel. Regardless of what you thought about the movie, you have to admit the film took it's time becoming anything close to a commercial success, which has the studio a bit concerned about making another one along the same lines. Variety's Thompson on Hollywood says the studio is debating a reboot of the franchise instead of an extension, although it's an ongoing debate.
The big concern in play here is Bryan Singer. Some people didn't care for the homage he created with Superman Returns and there's a desire to reboot things a la Batman Begins, to the point that people think Singer may be expendable if he's not willing to put aside his desire to carry on his tribute to Richard Donner's flick.
When the movie was in theaters, I wished Singer hadn't paid so much tribute to Donner in the movie, but I think getting rid of the director would be a bigger mistake. Superman just isn't Batman. You can't go too much darker with the big blue Boy Scout. If Singer is willing to holster some of his need to pay homage to Donner's classic take on the character, I still think he's the best pick for handling another Superman picture. Hopefully Warners can settle this debate without getting rid of Singer. Then again, this is the studio that almost let Supes fight against a giant spider, so who knows what sort of sense may win the day.

| New Harry Potter Trailer Coming | | Posted by: |
It looks like Warner Bros. may have come up with something to get Harry Potter fans focused on something besides the next movie's changed release date. There's a brand new trailer on the way.
The BBFC, Britain's version of the MPAA, has just approved a PG rating for a new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince trailer, with a running time of one minute and thirty-one seconds. There's no word yet on when Warner Brothers will actually release this trailer, but it's out there, completedy and ready to go. If they have any sense it's coming as soon as possible.
Warner Bros. doesn't have any major, wide theatrical releases coming until October, and nothing at all that really appeals to the Harry Potter crowd until at least November, that they could attach another trailer to. If they're in a rush, maybe they'll cut to the chase and release this one directly to the internet.
Update: The latest word from Warner Brothers is that no new trailer will be released. Which begs the qusetion... why then did they submit one for ratings classification?

| Wolverine In Trouble? | | Posted by: |
Ever the enemy of geeks, it looks like Fox Studios is meddling in and messing up yet another heavily anticipated comic book project. Now they may have set their sights on screwing up one of their own movies, Wolverine.
According to Hollywood-Elsewhere there's some sort of power struggle going on between Wolverine director Gavin Hood and Fox CEO Tom Rothman. As an example, they cite a situation in which Hood had a dark, dingy, and somber set built for a scene, left the set for a few days, and came back to find his set repainted to be brighter and less of a downer... repainted on Rothman's orders.
For now, the above account is only a rumor, a rumor from a source HE claims is good. And frankly, it's easy to believe their story may be true, Rothman and Fox in general are by now almost infamous for this kind of behavior, especially where tentpole, geek-friendly projects are concerned. What, you think X-Men 3 got that awful by accident? Or maybe you saw I, Robot, which Alex Proyas was forced to water down and "Big Willie" up to suit its star's stereotypical persona. Yep, that was another Fox product. This is after all, the studio that's trying to keep us from seeing Watchmen. Who didn't see this coming?

| Del Toro Will Follow Jackson's Lead On Hobbit Effects | | Posted by: |
No one is happier than me that The Hobbit is moving full steam ahead. I guess the people who are going to make millions of dollars are probably happier but I'm a close second. Unlike Lord of the Rings, which I've tried to read three times in my life and never got past the middle of the first book, I loved The Hobbit as a wee young lad living on the deserted plains of western Los Angeles County. It's a good thing, too, since news about The Hobbit will probably be a daily occurrence for the next three or four years.
Today's nugget is an interview that director Guillermo del Toro did with IGN about his special effects philosophy for the movie. In a phrase, he's going to use a little bit of everything. Stating that he will follow Peter Jackson in using some more "real" effects, del Toro said, "you have to be very careful not to rely on a single tool - and this is another thing that I share a passion for with Peter Jackson. We both are huge fans of 'old-world' techniques like maquettes, models, miniatures, paintings - and in the case of The Hobbit, I do intend to continue this trend and bring much more animatronics into the mix." I'm hoping the animatronics that he uses are those birds from Disneyland. Wouldn't it be cool if Bilbo walked by some electronic fowl singing "The Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room." No, that would stupid, nevermind.
That doesn't mean that CG will be absent from The Hobbit. He noted, "I think that some creatures are better served by being completely CG and others are better served by being completely animatronic - and others are only possible if you mix the two." Makes sense to me. Of course, even if he said that he was going to only use sets constructed out of Lincoln Logs, I'd probably say "OK, buddy, you're the expert." Of course, there are some things you don't screw with, and Gollum as CG is one of those. Del Toro said that he couldn't see any reason to not make Gollum CG in The Hobbit. "I think that it worked perfectly on the [Lord of the Rings] trilogy and if it ain't broke, why fix it?" Well said.

| Facelifted 2009 Honda Civic Breaks Cover | | Posted by: |
The Honda Civic is one of the world's top selling cars and the automaker will look to embrace that position further by launching the facelifted 2009 model year version featuring a number of modifications both inside and out. "The Civic lineup uniquely embraces traditional gasoline, hybrid, high performance and natural gas technologies like no other vehicle in the world," said Dick Colliver, executive vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "The exterior styling enhancements and newly-available features help strengthen Civic's position as one of the best-selling vehicles in a market that's embracing small cars more than ever." Exterior styling receives some extremely subtle changes which leaves the over conservative theme in tact. The front bumper has been redesigned to incorporate extra air intakes on the side areas, the headlights and tail-lights benefit from new color combinations that feature clear turn indicator lenses with amber bulbs. There are also new alloy wheels for the EX, Civic EX-L and Civic Si models whilst the Si model gets a set of fog lamps. Moving on to the interior we find very little has changed other than a few minor equipment changes in the standard packages. The engine and transmission options have also been left untouched. "If it aint broke, don't fix it". A saying that can clearly be felt with such a minor array of modifications for the Civic's mid-life pep up. Check out the press release below for more details.

| Chevrolet Volt is Opel Volt in Europe | | Posted by: |
Chevrolet is staking more than just its 97 year old reputation on the Volt electric half-breed; the very life of its parent General Motors is on the line. Volt will be in public hands by the end of 2010 if all goes according to schedule, and so far we don't have reason to suspect all will not go well. Two pieces of news on the Volt front have landed on our laps. Firstly the car will spawn other similar models, also powered by socket-rechargeable electric batteries that are good for 10 years of good service, at least. So Volt will serve as a sort of platform from which a whole range of electric-powered GM cars will be produced. The lithium-ion batteries measure about 5ft in length and weigh around 400 pounds. GM says these suckers are able to run the Volt for 40 miles, which is said to be the average distance an average American travels to and from work on a daily basis. The problem with the batteries is apparently not their power abilities but their stability. Two suppliers, one South Korean and the other American are the last in the running to provide these batteries, and GM will make a decision on which to go with by the end of this year.
Second piece of news is that Europe will get a Volt version not to be badged Chevrolet but Opel. It's not clear though if other markets like Asia, South America and Africa are on the Volt list but we assume this will depend largely on the US/ Euro uptake. Pricing could be an issue though as development costs have been quite substantial and GM is working hard behind the scenes to get US federal government to subsidize at least part of the cost. Meanwhile, Toyota says it will introduce a concept like Volt in 2010 at a much lower price but offering similar performance.

| First Pictures of New Peugeot Hybrid Concept Released | | Posted by: |
Peugeot's home motor show is coming up and it is a show they are unlikely to take lightly. In preparation for the event the French manufacturer has released the first images of a new concept they will be unveiling at the Paris Motor Show. The full name of the concept is yet to be divulged, so in the meantime we will have to make do with "RC...". The model is a GT Coupe which features four seats and a highly innovative hybrid architecture , it represents the missing link between the RC Concept car unveiled back in 2002 and the Peugeot 908 RC from the 2006 Paris Motor Show. Potential power output is 313bhp and the effect on environment is kept to a minimum with CO2 emissions of 109g/km when driving in combined mode, this figure goes down to zero in full electric mode. Many of Peugeot's future ideas have been included in the model and it could be the first step into presenting the company's new brand identity which is likely to be focused on a more aggressive and sporty product line up.
